Hello everyone,
I would like to start this new year with a new post of a beautiful wedding full of details that I have had the pleasure of creating. I started as a wedding celebrant in Spain in 2017 and I must admit that Valle and Chris’s wedding was a precious one that I still remember today.
The couple organized their wedding from the Netherlands, with the help of wedding planners Que se Besen. She is from Seville and he is Dutch. The two met during the Erasmus scholarship in Finland in 2012. They lived in the same building and, as neighbors, they began to get to know each other a little more. They fell in love, that is clear, and their love was so great that they even endured a long distance relationship. Chris living in Holland and Valle in Spain. Five years later they decided to take the great step of uniting their lives forever.
They chose Villa Luisa as their venue, a beautiful hacienda located in the center of Seville. For the decoration they wanted something very Mediterranean, something very typical of the city. With the help of their wedding planners they designed and organized, unforgettable day, an outdoor wedding in one of Seville’s most typical surroundings with sounds of the classical Spanish guitar and flute, wooden tables with olive details,…
As you know I adore bilingual weddings and this time the ceremony was held in Dutch and Spanish. During the ceremony, several friends of the couple intervened, providing those great moments of emotion and memories. One of the highlights of the ceremony was without doubt the moment they read their personal vows. As an additional touch they chose the rite of sand.

August 1, 2023El día de nuestra boda fue una mezcla única de tradiciones, culturas y amor que nunca olvidaremos. Siendo mexicana y mi esposo inglés, decidimos que nuestra ceremonia tuviera un toque bilingüe para que todos se sintieran parte de nuestro gran día.
El sol brillaba en el hermoso jardín mientras nuestros seres queridos se reunían, algunos vestidos de trajes típicos mexicanos y otros con elegantes atuendos ingleses. La ceremonia comenzó con una conmovedora lectura de poemas en ambos idiomas, lo que generó sonrisas y lágrimas entre los asistentes.
Durante nuestros votos, decidimos leerlos en nuestros idiomas nativos. Cuando llegó mi turno, estaba nerviosa pero emocionada. Sin embargo, en medio de las palabras de amor y promesas, mi mente se bloqueó. Me puse un poco nerviosa al ver las miradas expectantes de los invitados. En ese momento, mi esposo vio mi preocupación y me susurró dulcemente las palabras que necesitaba para continuar. Sentí un gran alivio y continué con mis votos con una sonrisa en el rostro.
El momento más gracioso llegó durante la recepción, cuando todos comenzaron a bailar. Decidimos tocar música mexicana y británica alternativamente para que todos pudieran disfrutar y compartir sus estilos de baile. La pista de baile se convirtió en un caótico pero divertido torbellino cultural, con algunos bailando al ritmo de mariachis y otros demostrando sus mejores pasos de baile al son de música pop británica. Incluso en la misa concertonovo.mx interpretó la Marcha Nupcial de Mendelssohn como en la tradición de la reina Victoria y al final un Bolero de María Grever: Bésame Mucho
La risa y el amor llenaron el aire durante toda la noche. Nuestra boda bilingüe no solo nos permitió unir nuestras culturas, sino que también nos recordó que el amor trasciende las fronteras y las barreras del idioma. Fue una experiencia única y mágica que atesoraremos para siempre, y estamos agradecidos de que nuestra boda fuera un reflejo de la diversidad y la unión que define nuestro amor.
